Testimonials
I know there is so much controversy between chiropractic and medical care, but if it were not for chiropractic I would still be in pain. A car accident left me with constant lower back pain. I tried everything from painkillers to preparing to have surgery. I heard stories from my friends who had surgery and to this day wish they never had it. So I decided to go to a chiropractor before the surgery and I am so thankful that I did. My back pains are gone and I am living my life to the fullest and pain free.

The word chiropractic is derived from the Greek meaning “ Done by Hand”. Paintings from ancient Egypt and Greece have shown spinal manipulations being used thousand of years ago. However, Daniel David Palmer (DD) did not discover chiropractic in it's modern form until September of 1895 in Davenport, Iowa.

Treatment is usually painless and contrary to popular beliefs seems completely normal and un-dramatic. Combining several factors including the patient’s consultation, examination, history and (if needed) x-rays, the doctor can make an informed decision on how to treat the problem.

Chiropractors today have the education and technology to treat many problems, not just back and neck pain. Chiropractors also develop and implement, exercise, stretching, and healthy diet programs to augment the Chiropractic treatment plan recommended.

Once the problem has been managed, the chiropractor can then help with the prevention of similar problems by identifying the stresses that your body is exposed to everyday.

Chiropractic is a detailed examination of the spine and nervous system to determine if and where functional misalignments exist. If spinal misalignment do exist the chiropractor can physically restore the spine to its optimal position and motion. This may take one, or more than likely, a series of adjusments to stabilize the condition.

Chiropractic is an art, science and philosophy which emphasizes the inherent recuperation powers of the body without the use of drugs or surgery. Chiropractic focuses on the relationship between the spine and nervous system and how it can affect the preservation and restoration of health.

The chiropractic philosophy of health differs from that of traditional medical. A chiropractor will evaluate the entire patient as a whole, looking for the cause of the patient’s interference to the healing process, not just treating symptoms. While symptoms tell you there is a problem, they don't always tell you where or how bad the problem is.  Many times symptoms are the last thing to show up and the first thing to go away.  We know the body can maintain and heal itself in most cases, without the use of drugs or surgery. We believe health is something that comes from within.

The Nervous System controls and coordinates the symphony of life in our bodies. Once the Chiropractor corrects spinal misalignments (Subluxations) and has eliminated the spinal nerve irritation, symptoms are relieved and the bodies own healing capabilities are set into motion.
